Need For Speed Underground

The True Core of Need for Speed: Underground
What makes a racing game if it isnt the cars? NFSU takes a new approach on the racing series by offering the player the chance to take regular stock cars and upgrade them into the creation of their choice. This is done based on countless combinations of different accessories that range from sponsor decals to NOS packages. Indeed the core for NFSU may be the overall concept but without cars their just isnt a game. One of the most compelling aspects of this game is the journey from not caring about your car at the beginning to obsessing over getting all the decals properly placed so the car has just the righ look towards the end of the game.

Examples of Modded Cars in NFSU
The following are three examples of stock cars that are available in NFSU which have been upgraded to a new look .

The 1998 Toyota Supra

The 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX

The 2002 Toyota Celica GT-S

The Rest of the Cars and Details
The game has twenty regular cars and a handful of special musical artist based cars including the above three, from which to choose from. On top of this for each car you have literally millions of combinations of accessories that are possible. These include different manufacturers for each mechanical upgrade and hundreds of decals and paint options as well as several special items that are unlockable throughout the game.
